PFC CJ Stewart Welcome Home Celebration
Welcome Home CJ!!

PFC CJ Stewart, 21, of Madison returned home to a hero's welcome at Jackson International Airport yesterday (10/28). CJ has been at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. for the last 4 months recovering from 36 surgeries to repair his right arm.

Stewart was serving as a combat medic in the 101st Airborne when their outpost was attack by a series of RPGs. Stewart was on a rescue mission when he was hit by an RPG that nearly took off his right arm. Stewart's medical team said he should've lost his arm. Stewart credits his survival and miraculous recovery to his faith in God.
