Change Mob To Benefit Salvation Army

Give One; Get 20 – a new ChangeMob campaign designed to raise money for The Salvation Army launches September 12th in the Jackson, MS area. The fundraising goal for the campaign is $5,000 that will be added to the Salvation Army’s Kids Camps budget.

Here’s how it works. Users visit changemob.com or download the app and signup to give a $1 or
more donation. Once a donation has been made, a digital coupon is delivered straight to the user’s smart phone or email. Users are rewarded for doing good. The philosophy is: give a dollar, get a great deal, change the world.

The reward for Give One; Get 20 is a $20 bfac.com Listing Card. With $20 in bfac.com listings you can sell everything from clothes and CDs to autos and real estate. Salvation Army Captain Ken Chapman, says, “This campaign presents us with a great opportunity to reach out to new donors in a unique way. It is our hope the Metro area will embrace this challenge to commit just $1 to the greater good of our community.”

Nearly 30 million Americans receive assistance from The Salvation Army each year through an array of social services that range from providing food for the hungry, relief for disaster victims, assistance for the disabled, clothing and shelter to the homeless, and opportunities for underprivileged children. 82 cents of every dollar The Salvation Army spends is used to support those services in 5,000 communities nationwide.
