If you’ve never heard of Operation Christmas Child, I hope it’s something you’ll consider being a part of this year. Operation Christmas Child delivers a shoebox full of small gifts to children all across the United States and around the world. It’s really a shoebox full of love. I had the opportunity to meet a 19 year old California girl named Luba Travis last week. Luba was adopted when she was 6 out of an orphanage in the country of Moldova, which is near the Ukraine in central Asia. Luba was in town to share her amazing story of being abandoned at an orphanage where she was beaten and mistreated until a group of missionaries from Operation Christmas Child came in and delivered a shoebox full of hope to Luba.
