US 96.3 Country would like to congratulate 11 year old Brad Paton from Southaven on taking this amazing buck. Brad's father Scott told us that this deer was taken on private land in Coahoma County near Hwy 49/Arkansas state line.
Brad and his dad got in the stand at 6:00am on opening day of youth weekend and the deer was down at 6:12am. This is a 34 point deer with a green score of 246. It will be officially re-scored after the 6 week drying out period. We're thrilled to know that these guys will have this story about spending time in the outdoors together for the rest of their lives. Thanks for sharing guys!
