Liza's mother Chris Link told US 96.3, "We had no idea what Liza was up to until Kara Killough (principal) called to tell us about a letter she had received from Liza asking to start a Bible club." Liza was the leader of the first Bible study sharing a message about the golden rule.
"65 kids attended the first Bible study, which was absolutely overwhelming to us," said Link. "We had no idea that many kids would show up, let alone bring their Bibles with them to school." Since October, the monthly meeting has grown to 94 students who attended the January meeting this morning.
