Birthday:
December 14th
Favorite Foods:
Salads, grilled chicken, fresh fruit and veggies are regulars at the house. I try and keep it healthy, BUT that doesn’t always happen. Pizza and Mexican are two of my many weaknesses. Oh and don’t even get me started on ice cream!
Things I Hate:
Rude, self centered people whose egos are larger than their talent levels. I also hate it when folks change the toilet paper roll and don’t let the TP fall over the top of the roll. It also drives me insane when someone leaves their turn signal on AND they are not turning. I also hate the way my wife loads the dishwasher.
Favorite Out-of-Office activities:
I enjoy spending time at the house hanging out with my wife Donna and our 4 dogs. I’m also a big video gamer. I love to escape the day’s stresses by playing Madden or blowing up zombies in some shoot-em-up game. We recently got Rock Band and even though I look like a goob and can’t keep time to save my life, I love jammin’ out on the drums. I also enjoy getting exercise but have lost my motivation here lately. I think I’ll start back on a Monday… but I’m not quite sure which Monday that’ll be.
Favorite Country Artists:
How can you NOT like George Strait? My favorite country song of all time is “Run” by George! Reba was the first country show I ever went to and she was AMAZING! I’ve played softball with Tim McGraw during Swamp Stock and met Faith Hill and Buddy Jewell. We’ve gotten to meet lots of Country artists here at US 96.3 Country and Neil McCoy was my favorite. He’s so funny! We’ve also gotten the opportunity to meet and hang out with Point of Grace a few times. I was shocked the second time we hung out with them when the ladies not only remembered m
Some things You Might Not Know About Me:
I was born in Fort Worth, Texas and raised in Kenner, Louisiana. I grew up in a step-family with two older brothers, an older sister and a younger brother. My first radio gig was running commercials during a satellite program on an oldies station in New Orleans. I went to college in Monroe, Louisiana and did the whole college radio thing there. Since then I’ve worked at Classic Hits, Country and Top 40 radio stations. But my favorite is Country because of the listeners. Country music listeners have a passion about their music that’s second to none!
Things I love:
Ice cream on a warm day (ok, so it doesn’t HAVE to be a warm day to have ice cream.)
Clean, warm covers on a cold night. Jogging pants, a baggy t-shirt and a Saints game on TV.
